Grounds to Function

All prayers are not alike. All messages are not the same. Some have the fervency of the Spirit and the vibration and ring of God. Some only resound of death and the source of the flesh. Some have a touch of God and others have never made a first contact with the Throne. Some communicate life and others reiterate words of the letter. But words must be far more than words; they must be illustrated in power.

How many people have no grounds to function on except the insecurity or pride of their own flesh? They have never submitted in humility and therefore their results are not raised up by the power of God. They go as far as their personality carries them to describe God. They never enter into the unsearchable riches of His power, because those riches are only found by faith when one has shut his own eyes to natural discovery.

The problems that Christians have with fellowship derive from the flesh. They have never entered into fellowship through the grounds of the Cross in the place of love. There is such a lack of real heart fellowship among believers because people don't experience the real value of Christ in one another. They, so many times, are so busy wading through the formalities of Adamic flesh, that they never receive the portion. If the flesh could be dealt with, and it has been by the Finished Work, then people would have the grounds to fellowship and a place to function in the blessing of God's life.
