Hearing Brings the Revelation

Be careful how you hear. No one can hear unless he is crucified. Hearing the voice of a Person will produce eternal effect. People try to implement what they know to be true without hearing God, which produces the faith revealing the righteousness of His life. Even Jesus Christ, in the perfection of His own true judgment, laid down that which He was, to hear the voice of the Father ( John 5:30).

Jesus Christ first heard from the Father and then entered into identification with us through death. Through that one death, we through Christ become sons of God led by the voice of the Father as communicated by the Spirit. The Spirit first wants to teach us to listen. Don’t seek for power, but listen and receive a word that is powerful. Many seek for things without hearing from God in the definition of life. They look for abstracts to give them purpose in their Christian experience, instead of living by the voice of the Father which imparts faith to reveal the Son. They are always looking for something in their Christian life because they have never received sufficient understanding of the Finished Work that comes through the Word of the Father.

The Son can be living in a person’s heart and yet that person does not progress in the grace of the revelation of the gift. He has no effect in his ministry because God is not effectively speaking through him. The Word of God gives you the faith to lay down your life (Romans 10:17), revealing the manifestation of the voice of God.
