No Air Between

The Cross will never agree with my will. The whole principle for the Cross is that we do not get our own way. If we stop fighting the Cross with our will then our lives will be united together as a Body-united so we cannot be sundered. There will be no air between us, for the Cross has taken care of that demonic atmosphere which wants to work its way between God's people.

The disciples were in the upper room fearing (John 20:19). Jesus walked through the wall. There was no air stopping Him from coming through. He had already been through the Cross, having died and was buried. He walked into the situation of fear and said, "Peace." Because of our identification with that death and burial, the air cannot come between us and the Lord.

Resurrection always leaves the physical wall standing while faith goes through. Jesus knew they were fearful. Every situation that has fear is always an invitation for love. The wall could not be taken away and it did not change, but that did not stop peace and love from coming in because that was the will of God. The will of man could not do anything to the wall, but the will of God could and did. Jesus came through uninvited because it was God's will.

It is all by the will of God. Saul of Tarsus did not say, "Jesus save me." But Jesus knocked him down, shown a great light in his face, and said, "Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?"
