No Obvious Evidence Available

Satan has a plan to frustrate the Christian and to cause him to be dissatisfied with the plan of God. When his mind is not reconciled in thought to the plan, then his heart cannot issue forth the life of reconciliation to express the Planner. Satan wants a Christian to believe that it is commendable not to like your situation and yet suffer for Christ's sake in its midst.

A Christian may suffer for his stand for Christ but he does not have to suffer because of his situational place. You might think it acceptable for Paul and Silas in Acts 16:25 to be imprisoned with the death of their surroundings. And yet what is the purpose, the privilege, the primary act of a true Word of God believer? It is to experience the substance of God without feelings, without stimulation, without a complimentary atmosphere and without any evidence by the sight of the natural eye. There is no need to apologize for praising God when there is apparently nothing there to cause you to thank Him. For we do not thank God only when we see the results of His plan. We are in love with the Person of the plan.

We have been translated from this world and now we are sons at His right hand. We are satisfied with pleasures forevermore. No longer do we live in the dissatisfaction of false needs, but we live in the supply of God's faith, which satisfies us without any evidence of change. We do not seek for fulfillment when God has made available promises that are fulfilled and experienced by faith.
