Strong As the Reigning Thought

Never consider quitting God’s business even if you are going through the worst trial. Abide in your calling. A man is to be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding. He is a conqueror over demons, chambering, and strife. The man of God is incarnated with the Spirit.

What it takes to stop a person reveals where he is in his experience. If he stops, he is without the provision of Christ. God brings a trial to reveal His beauty. Yet the person takes it to reveal that he was out of the Spirit when it happened. If a person cannot face pressure, he has made a provision to experience natural strength.

Be fervent in the Spirit. Be intensely exercised inside of Christ. You cannot say a trite thing one moment and be fervent the next. If you want the gifts to operate, put on the totality of Christ. The natural tree and its provisions must be dead. Your Adam nature must be totally dead. As you enter into God’s methods and means, you will be as strong as you allow His thoughts to reign. You will be loving as you allow His affections to monopolize you. You will be just as powerful in prayer as you are fervent in your request in faith.

Be instant in prayer. Don’t analyze the faults of yesterday, but pray in the presence of God today. Do not evaluate someone’s humanity, but be instant in prayer and be of the same mind as Christ. Enter into the dynamic Christian reality that the manifestation of the Word of God can be said to be found in you.
