The Evidence Withheld

Realize the ones whom God has sent. Come under a total government in the power of strength. Rid yourself of all independence. When we come to the Cross, we are void of all rationalization. We are there only in the humility of dust to be available. No longer will we live under a partial course, but will exist in the total authority of the Spirit who purged our lives.

Will God give us anything less than the power and authority He gave the seventy (Luke 10:1)? Does God make people go without revelation, without the gifts and without giving eternal results?

Would God have given them something He would not give us? If we view the situation as it is today, we could presume that God is withholding something because we see no power or evidence of Life. But it is man who has withheld his heart from God and has not yielded to the government of the Spirit. Because of our own deviated choice, we now have something that has lost its substance, its holiness, its piercing words, its clarity, its completeness, its avid application, and its quickening capacity.

People call that a representation of Christ, and yet they have never been visited with the presence of God through a government. Jesus Christ wants us to go in the power of Apostolic Christianity with a river that flows from our heart, a fire that burns in our soul, a walk in the government of love, and an authority whose distinction and manifestation you cannot deny.
