Wall-to-Wall Power

This verse describes the inner chamber of Solomon’s Temple. Cherubim were set there. Their number was two, and they filled the room. The wing of one touched one wall, the wing of the other touched the other wall, and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house. All of Heaven filled the chamber, so that no matter where you went, it was touched by Heaven. God had placed therein His presence, and there was no room but for that which God had placed there.

In Ezekiel 3:13, the Bible says that the wings of the living creatures touched one another and there was great activity in their midst. It is the living creatures that touch one another that dwell in the midst of all spiritual blessings. The Body is the place where God commanded His blessing forevermore. In the Body, members can touch one another in life because they are not limited by the boundaries of humanity. They are secure in the presence of Heaven. They are secure in life, and they become expressive in liberty. A man does not hide his talent because of insecurity, but invests it by touching others with his portion. Christ is allowed to edify and to build the Body as the members invest life.

Man was made to be in a place where he would be touched by Heaven continually. We are touched and become the garment of Christ that others may touch us and be healed in mind, emotions, and body. We are touched, and then we touch one another.
