The Caring Hand of God

The person who does not know of God’s hand in his life will worry and strive over life’s situations. He will worry about how situations will work out. Often, he will feel uncared for.

We must stop and ponder on the things that God has prepared for us. Psalm 68:19a says that God “daily loadeth us with benefits.” We have “all things that pertain unto life and godliness” (II Peter 1:3). To top it off, we have God’s unfailing compassions in Lamentations 3:22. We can have either the provisions of the finished work grace of Jesus Christ as our frame of reference or nagging doubts as to whether God has all things in control. Which shall we choose? I Corinthians 2:9 says, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” God has many things planned for those who love Him. We simply need to mix faith with the Word of God so that we may be sustained in our daily walk with Christ.

If our heavenly Father cares for the birds and lilies of the field, will He not much more care for us? Victory comes by ignoring what look like potential problems and looking unto the things that God has prepared.
