Within the first month of getting saved at 19, Laura felt the Lord calling her to serve Him in foreign missions. Answering the call, she found her whole life suddenly made sense. Laura headed to Bible college for training. Her last year in Bible College she went on a short-term mission trip to the Far East where to her surprise, God poured His love for a certain country there into her heart. The vision was yet for an appointed time. Laura graduated from Bible College in 1984 (Stevens School of the Bible) majoring in Missions and served on GGWO’s first team to Mumbai, India, in 1984. In 1987 after obtaining a certificate for teaching English , she returned to the country in her heart and quietly served there for 11 years, learning the language, leading people to Christ, and discipling women. She later went to Korea on a church plant and ministered there for nine years. Laura now serves as the Dean of Women at Maryland Bible College and Seminary, where encouraging women in their individual calls is her joy.
