Divine Perspective

God’s Mission Field

We are the Lord’s, the Work is the Lord’s, and the results are the Lord’s. Divine perspective helps us stay objective in times of uncertainty.  Divine perspective is an eternal viewpoint that is governed by eternal values. We are God’s mission field; He is planting an eternal seed in us that will bear much fruit!

No Lack

“Consider the Work of God,” Ecclesiastes 7:13. It is God’s work, it is His results, and we are His! This is a Win – Win formula. The work of God is a miracle, not lacking a thing. Our heart attitude stands amazed at God’s faithfulness in the hearts of His people.

Eternal Results

How are we to quantify what is eternal?  One life can effect a generation. Don’t despise the day of small beginnings. A word, a prayer, an action by faith can have a ripple effect for all eternity. Our privilege is to obey and enjoy Christ on the journey of life, with all its ups and downs – He will perfect that which concerns you, Psalm 138:8.

Beyond Sight

Emotional thinking can govern so much of our decisions. We can interpret what is going on around us based on sight and what we can understand. This is a trap because it only tells part of the story.  As we agree with the promise of God, and keep it simple in our heart, we enter objectivity and discover the bigger picture.

Beyond Natural

The moment we touch the work of God in our own strength there is death. Natural thinking, working with natural hands, will limit His work. The natural man is good at underestimating God and overestimating self. God’s way to growth in His work is by faith to agree with Him regardless of what we see, and understand – God is in control of His work.

In Awe of Him

In Revelations 4 we see a tangible picture of the work of God in the throne room of heaven. We see a glimpse of God’s majesty and redemption.  Amazed, we see His beauty of grace and lives transformed because of great love. The psalmist said in Psalms 4:4 and in 119:161 that we are in a state of awe because of who HE is. The REAL work that is often underestimated is what God is doing IN us before the expression through usIn this communion and fellowship we learn “follow-ship.”

Beyond Measure

God is always working, He never gives up. When we focus on Him the world grows dim in the light of His presence. His measureless life takes us beyond ourselves and all other measurements. The work of God is not able to be calculated or quantified regardless of the evidence. God is doing the deep work, an eternal work. We have the privilege to participate and sow to the Spirit and reap life, Galatians 6:8.

Let’s not dwarf God into our image or limit him to our plans – nothing is too hard for HIM! His work done His way never lacks His provision.    –Pastor Jason Moore
