Christ, Our Propitiation, Our Advocate

Christ made great exchange. Our sins went upon Him. By the blood of the Son, a way was made for our fellowship with the holy God. He answered with fire to make a way for us. (1 John 2:1-3; 1 Kings 18:21-26)

I thought it very thought provoking and inspiring, how Pastor Hulett opened his intro with a prayer and Psalm 65:1,
“Praise waiteth for thee, oh God, in Zion:”
It’s talking about a praise for something that hasn’t happened yet. But a praise that has full assurance of faith and hope in the mercy and goodness of God towards him, that he is able to wait for it.
I think Psalm 65:4 is a source of that assurance, as it can be for all of us in Christ: “Blessed is the man that thou choosest, and to causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts:”
    – God has chosen us, and has even caused us to trust in Jesus.
That gives me great confidence in God.
