Come.

YOU ARE INVITED.

“Rejoice in the Lord always” is the theme for our International Convention this year in Baltimore.

We could all say, “Wow, what if I could walk in that joy all my life!” I wonder what that means. How can it be done?

We are trusting that God has shown us, is showing us, and will show us how we live in a troubled world.  We have answers! Please plan to come and join us.

Also, we have a pre-convention week during which we reach out in the area and have local rap sessions in Federal Hill, Havre de Grace, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore.

Besides our normally scheduled sessions, there are sessions for children, teens, and young adults.  Come and bring the whole family.

May God bless and continually lead us in His joy  so we can constantly say, “Rejoice in the Lord always.”

Transportation

Convention Location  – 6025 Moravia Park Drive, Baltimore MD 21206

We recommend choosing BWI as your final flight destination. Philadelphia (PHL) is your second best option. The GGWO shuttle is servicing only these two airports.
Are you considering flights into Washington Dulles (IAD) because of a lower price?
Here are some things you need to know:

  • GGWO has discontinued ride service to and from IAD.
  • Rush hour advisory for 6-10 am and 3-7 pm. Traffic congestion will result in much longer travel times. Fares will be higher during these times. Plan to  to arrive 10 am – 2 pm.
  • You will need to use transportation services. Prices vary depending on the level of service you require.
  • Public transportation options require an absolute minimum of 2.5 hours and require several transfers to get you to Baltimore’s Penn Station. Then you still need to organize a ride. Google map offers a public transportation Schedule Explorer after you have accessed public transportation directions.
  • Door to door transportation options:
    Uber Fare Estimator
    Lyft fare calculator
    Super Shuttle
    BT Shuttle

Getting to Baltimore from other airports (JFK, LGA, EWR, IAD)

We are unable to provide airport transportation from New York (JFK or LGA), Newark (EWR), or Dulles (IAD). Many international travelers add BWI to their flight itinerary, and then get transportation from the BWI airport. (See Above.)  For more information on getting here from these airports please follow these links:

GGWO offers shuttle services to and from train and bus stations in the Baltimore area. GGWO will assist with transportation to and from the following locations. All transportation arranged through our office must be paid in advance. Transportation is only offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Transportation should be arranged at least one month before your intended arrival. Registration prior to June 1 is recommended. VBS Schedule 2019

Nursery: Ages 1-5

(5 year-olds who have not completed Kindergarten attend the nursery program)

The GGWO Convention is the highlight of our year. We look forward to our “family reunion” time of ministering, loving, and caring for our young children in a cool, safe, fun-filled, professionally-staffed nursery. There, each age group will have Bible themes emphasizing the character of God and His plan for each of their lives . We will have a variety of crafts, art, flannel graphs, and puppet shows to complement our Bible stories.

JR VBS: Ages 6 – 7 (5 year-olds who have already completed Kindergarten attend Jr. VBS)

We have added this program as a complement for the younger children in our Convention programs. We are excited to introduce a theme and a Spirit-filled, fun-packed program that will leave our children full of joy and life. Our mornings and afternoons will be filled with VBS-style lessons, activities, snacks, games, and skits. Our evening program will have great guest performers and age-appropriate music and messages. This will truly be a time your children will not want to miss! Please note that this age group will not be attending trips, but will instead have lots of afternoon activities, games, etc. right here on campus.

VBS | Ages 8 – 10

The program for our older elementary children will include a theme and a Spirit-filled, fun-packed program that will leave children full of joy and life. Our mornings and will be filled with VBS-style lessons, activities, snacks, games, and skits. Afternoons will include some off-campus trips. (Please see schedule for more details). Our evening program will have great guest performers and age-appropriate music and messages. This will truly be a time your children will not want to miss!

JR TEENS | Ages 11 – 13

At the morning and evening meetings, guest speakers share the Word of God and stories from the mission field. These Spirit-filled messages promote God-inspired, life-changing experiences. Afternoon trips include bowling, swimming, and Hershey Park Amusement Park. Please refer to the schedule for more information.

TEENS | Ages 13 – 19

In the mornings, we encourage the teenagers to join the sessions in the chapel where they have the opportunity to hear from Pastor Schaller, Pastor Scibelli, and guest speakers from all over the world. Afternoon activities include swimming trips to Beaver Dam, and a visit to Hershey Park Amusement Park. Please refer to the schedule for more information.
