From the Arctic to the Equator

This winter break I had the opportunity to go on a whirlwind missions adventure that led me to Finland and Ecuador.

During the Winter Days at the Raamattu Puhuu Church in Helsinki, I learned about fellowship, shared the Gospel, and made new connections in the Body of Christ. I spent a good deal of time with teens and young people in the church. This was truly an amazing and profitable time.

After a quick pit-stop back in Baltimore, I went on to Quito, Ecuador, with a group of young people and Pastor Stan Collins. We fellowshipped with local believers, shared our faith through evangelism in parks, learned about team life, and got to know Pastor Stan’s vision for Latin America.

I learned a lot about ministry and team leadership. I will never forget my time spent in these two incredible countries. – Ryan Green, MBCS student
