Timur grew up in a Muslim family ..."I was Muslim," he said, "but I didn't have faith. So I just prayed, "God, if You are, please open Yourself to me." ...and when he found a Bible he began to read it. ...he realized that Jesus is not only a prophet but the crucified Son of God. Timur fell to his knees and made a commitment to follow Jesus Christ."
The man who previously had arrested him told Timur that if he continued to preach in the town, he would personally gather some locals to stone Timur. "Dying for Jesus would be a privilege for me." Timur replied boldly. ...Timur is unmoved.
