Evil can only be understood in context of the Bible. Destroyers operate under the sovereignty of the Lord. In the time of Christ’s birth, evil was moving, but God was also moving. Herod raged and slaughtered trying to preserve his kingdom; God moved through the humility of Joseph and Mary to bring the King of kings into humanity. (Matt. 2:3, 13-23; Prov. 22:4)
