Let Children Come to Me

k

We thank God for what He is doing in the Children’s Ministry here in Nansana, Uganda in the lives of our children and the team. At our annual Children’s Summer Camp we had 80 children come daily for the camp. Continue to pray for God’s wisdom for us as we are laying down strategies of how to impact our community with the life of Christ through children’s ministry outreaches. – Annie Emyelu

Orphans

We thank God for what He is doing in the lives of our children here at the Karis Children Home. We are encouraged by the decisions that some are making to join Bible school, as well as their involvement in outreaches during their school term.

Many who care

Thank you for all your prayers and support for both the spiritual and physical welfare of our orphans. The Indian community in Uganda has supplied our children with shoes, clothes, and food stuffs three times. When they came to visit the first time, they were touched by the lives of the children and now they bring their own children to play with our children during weekends. It is amazing to see what God is doing through different people.

Farming

We thank God for our Walpole Farm where we get some of the food like matooke, cassava, sweet potatoes, as well as fruit like mangoes and passion fruit. We are preparing the ground for growing ginger. We have acquired knowledge on how to grow it and there is good market for ginger here. Preparation of the ground requires some investment. Ginger endures bad weather more than most crops. We think within a year we shall have good yields.  – Pastor Sam Muhima in Nansana, Uganda
