“Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.” Acts 15:36
Northern Uganda
Glory to the Most High God who blesses us with all heavenly blessings and thanks to our Father in heaven and the entire ministry for supporting the work of God in northern Uganda. Despite being a place where war has broken down people’s lives physically and spiritually, we thank God for we have received His grace and He is moving in us.
We have 10 churches in this region, the attendance for the conference was 400 people. We also visited the church in Apac and had a great time. We were so edified by the sound teachings of the Word that we received. Thanks to our God for open doors for the message of grace to reach towns and villages. Keep this work in prayer! -Pastor Santo Odong0
Western Nile
The churches in Nebbi, in the Western Nile region of Uganda, are growing by the grace of God. There are 6 churches with an outreach in Nebbi town. We believe God for a church plant in this town. We also have an outreach in the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo. There are 28 students in the Bible college and 2 are from DRC. Thank you for all your prayers and support! –Pastor Alfred Ochoun
Nambale, Kenya
In our first conference we had 450 people attending. We also had a football match, Kenya vs Uganda, and we won by 2:1. People from the village who came to watch the game heard the gospel at the end. We thank God for the gospel of grace and the finished work given to us by the Holy Spirit through this amazing ministry. It is transforming us and spreading rapidly in our region. Please keep us in your prayers. – Pastor Joseph Okana
Nansana Bible College
It’s always encouraging to hear the testimonies of how individuals are introduced to Bible college. Three such testimonies come to mind; One student, Onesimus, living in Southwestern Uganda, in a town called Kabale, had always desired to serve God . He agot to know about our college through Pastor Jack Twine, our missions director, here in Nansana. After much difficulty he decided to move his entire family from his home town and come to Nansana to attend Bible college.
Another testimony is Edrine who was introduced to the Bible College by Onesimus. He had been living in Netherlands with his Dutch wife who divorced him and took everything from him saying that he had run mad for deciding to go to Bible college. So he returned back to Uganda and now walks 15 kilometers from his home to get to class and is usually on time.
The final testimony is of an orphaned Frank in western Uganda. Frank greatly desired to learn the Bible but did not know how and where. During one of Pastor Jack’s evangelistic outreaches, he met Frank and introduced him to the idea of attending Bible college. Frank was excited about the proposal and now he is one of our students living in the college dormitory.
These students hope to be used of God in missionary work.
Please pray for continued hunger for God’s Word in our students and the desire to serve Him.
