Reaching the Unreached in Odisha India

“And he took them the same hour of  the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway”(Act 16:33)

Reaching the Unreached

It’s a great joy and privilege to give a testimony from Odisha mission field. This  year we have had wonderful Gospel preaching outreaches near the border of Andhra Pradesh. We minister in the unreached mountain villages of Rayagada with weekly Bible studies, distribution of Proclaimers (FCBH Bible Radios), Bible and Gospel tracts. May it bring many souls to God’s glorious kingdom and may the young believers grow in discipleship. We’d like to obtain 2 motor bikes to help travels to these villages.

Secret Baptism

In August, we secretly baptized five faithful Christians in a forest river in the dark. We turned on the flashlights of our mobile phones along with the vehicle headlights to see the great commission of Christ Jesus, our Lord in action.

Six kilos of Coins

One day during our family prayer time I asked my wife and children to pray for finances for the widows ministry in Gajapati-Serango where we help 70 needy widows with 10 kg bags of good rice, whenever we can. After the prayer my daughter, Elizabeth, came and told me that she had some money for the needy and desperate widows. I asked her how she got the money and she said, “I have gathered coins in my mud pot for 3 years to buy a bicycle but God inspired me to give it all for the widows. She brought her pot full of coins and it weighed over 6 kilos!

Caring for Orphans

After sometime my son, John Livingstone, came to me and said he has also collected coins just like his sister. He gave his saving for our Grace Family Orphanage in Rayagada. I praise God for their sacrificial giving. We care for these orphans and pray for them to grow in God’s Word and to be trained for God’s mission work.

Glory to God in the Highest

As I walk through the streets of Helsinki on a Monday evening, I catch myself being mesmerized by the work of God in my life.
