Theme Defined
The Dictionary defines the word theme as “a unifying or dominant idea.”
More than Conquerors
The theme of our April 2016 conference was “We are more than conquerors through Him that hath loved us, Romans 8:37b. We were excited as a church, we had 11 visitors! People in our church opened up their homes to house visitors from Baltimore. Pastor Jason Moore was our keynote speaker. We had prayed about the Conference. We were so blessed. There was so much joy and fun! We were laughing all the time! We had never have planned a conference before. Everything worked perfectly, “almost”. The weather wasn’t perfect.
Tears of Joy
We had outreach, messages, raps and even a hike! One lady came to me in tears of joy and said this was one of the greatest times of her life. Also, a Body member who had been gone for months come back. We had a pastor and his wife visit from a local church. God really poured out his blessing. We are still riding the wave.
The Theme of our Life
Casinos have themes “Paris”, “Caesars”, etc. Parks have themes. Satan also wants to be the unifying or dominant idea in your life. As Christians the Lord Jesus Christ should be the theme of our life.
