God has a purpose for our lives. It is designed only to bless. He wants to promote us in His Kingdom as we get to know Him through situations. He has a perfect provision for everything we go through. In Psalm 138:8, God promises “to perfect that which concerns me…”
The situations in our families are in the plan of God. Details in marriage are in His hand. If we can accept God’s plan in these areas, His provisions will soon follow. We will also receive maximum blessings, because instead of reacting to situations, we respond to God’s resources.
Understand that whatsoever He does, He does forever (1) and that “He which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6). He has designed inward conformity to His Son to come through outward circumstances in His plan of grace. As we grow in Christ, we experience His omniscience, His omnipotence, and His omnipresence. His faithfulness, His finished work, His mercy, and His compassion are all there to support us. “He will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).
His plan is perfect. His thinking is right, and His design is beautiful. One day we will see that everything truly did work together for good, just as He promised!
