The tongue represents a place of tension in our bodies. We have to learn how to have the tongue of the learned. The bad tongue says the wrong thing; the passive tongue refuses to speak when it should; but the spiritual tongue says what is important at the right time. (Mark 7:18-23; Numbers 30:4-6)
