The Unseen Audience

There are many things that take place in the invisible realm of which we are unaware. “We are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men” (I Corinthians 4:9). Our every move is observed.

As Job faced many hardships, he did not know that he was being watched, nor did he realize that Satan had accused him before God (2). Satan and his angels had been roaming through the earth (3), and were paying close attention to God’s children. They were trying to mock God and His servants.

The same thing goes on today. Satan appears before God night and day to accuse us (4), as the angels watch to see how we will respond. There is nothing the devil can accuse us of that has not been taken care of by the blood of Christ. Do we rely on God’s power and overcome according to the provision revealed to us in the Word of God? When we are placed in the furnace, we must remember that it could be an angelic conflict (5). As we hold fast God’s Word, Christ is revealed through us as we go through the trial, and consequently, Satan will see the glory given to God.
