God has prepared so much for us. “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20, NIV). “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘yes’ in Christ” (II Corinthians 1:20a, NIV). He is willing to bestow the riches of heaven on us if we forsake the foolish ways of the world and cling to wisdom. “How long will you simple ones love your simple ways?” (Proverbs 1:22a, NIV). “I say that wisdom is better than folly, just as light is better than darkness” (Ecclesiastes 2:13, NIV). They are deceived very easily because they believe anything (2). We must forsake those ways and get wisdom, even though it will cost us everything (3). We need to come out and be separate, to touch no unclean thing (4), so that we will not be influenced and led astray. We must break off our friendship with the world (5). We must get understanding so we can forsake the simple things in our lives. Once we make this choice, favor will be given to us (6), we will be even tempered (7) and we will observe the laws and have success in all we do (1).
