February 20, 2021 at 4:51 pmAbraham tried to help God with God’s will for his life: He had Ismael with Hagar to try to bring about the promised seed.
He represents us trying to do a work for God.
Then over much time God broke Abraham, through God’s work in Abraham.
Now Abraham was reduced to nothing, and was ready to live by faith.
Abraham had become small, and God and His promises loomed large.
We see God working a work of grace in our life, and we are full of praise and worship, satisfied In Him. This brings glory to God. Not our work for Him, but us learned ng to live in what He has done, for us and in us.
