Abraham left his home and city in obedience. He knew God and came to seek the City whose Builder and Maker is the Lord. Impossible and laughable things happened to him and to Sarah. He seed became as the stars in the heavens. This man saw and claimed the promise of Christ. (Hebrews 11:8-13)
