In today’s society, it is very common for men and women to try to establish a business, a career, or a lifestyle that will remain throughout their lifetime. As Christians, we often seek to establish what we prefer, hoping God approves of it. Hebrews 12:28 instructs us to receive a kingdom which cannot be moved.
As believers, God wishes us to be hidden inside of this kingdom. How do we accomplish this? Psalm 1:2-3 tells of the righteous man who meditates on the Word day and night. His continual source of life was from Christ.
Christ has raised us up with Him (4), and He wishes for us to be hid with Him. Despite this fact, many continue to be occupied with the worries of this world. Are there worries or distresses that trouble us? We must receive the kingdom that cannot be moved! Pressure will not be so great when we realize we are hidden with Christ. The Lord will fight for you in your troubles (5), and He wishes us to cast all our cares on Him (6). “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear” (Hebrews 12:28).
