Those who worship idols — whatever they may be — become like those idols because we can live in a box of natural thinking. If a dumb log is your god, you will be a dumb log. Comfort can be so dangerous and seductive. But we can worship the mighty God, the Son who purposed to come to live and die for us before the world was. (John 17:6; Isaiah 44:16-20)
